Travel Diaries: Dinosaurs!

Day two of our trip brought us to Creation Museum. This was my second visit to the museum, and I loved it for all the same reasons as last time…
The high quality exhibits…the sound doctrine behind each everything you see and hear eliminating the need to ‘filter’ stuff…and, best of all, the planetarium. More on that in another post.

The gardens were even more beautiful than last time, and we enjoyed the suspension bridge!

It was hot and humid, and the scent of the wide variety of flowers and fauna gave the whole experience a tropical feel.

And guess who we passed in the garden? Ken Ham himself, along with his wife and personal security. I felt like the paparazzi taking this shot, but we didn’t just shoot pictures, we chatted, too. 🙂

the Petting Zoo was new, too – I think these things were called “Zorses” – showing how many different spieces could indeed come from each pair of animals on the ark.

I enjoyed meeting a camel for the first time. That’s my BIL, Isaiah posing with the camel.

On the road again after lunch, headed for St. Louis. We passed lots of bridges. I love bridges…

Claire’s delicate features so peaceful during her afternoon nap.

In the back seat – my nephew, Benjamin…

…and Jesse snoozing.

the sunset as we neared St. Louis.
