I am trying desperately to give the blog a new look (had you noticed?) I feel like someone who has made repeated trips to the paint store, to yet be satisfied with something that expresses ME on the walls of our blog. Blogger just doesn’t have enough options for me. So, I’m working on learning how to download a template. It’s gonna take me a little while to accomplish the makeover – I’m just asking you to be patient while I learn. Hopefully the blog won’t look too weird during the transition! ๐
Meanwhile, there is something you can do! I want to make sure that the time I spend on the blog is time well spent. I blog for you, after all, so I would love for you to tell me your favorite thing about the blog. Just leave a comment and tell me what your favorite topic is that keeps you coming back to this blog. Look under the “Labels” list and choose – maybe you like my crafty posts (“From the Studio”) the best, or you are a fond auntie and come mostly for the “Jesse Moments” we post. Or, maybe you don’t come for me at all, and you’re here for those rare and special times when Olivia pops in, or Anja share a poem? (It’s ok to admit it – I won’t be offended! :)) Anyway, if you will go ahead and leave your comment, I will enter your name in the hat, and we will be giving away…(drumroll, please…) this necklace, fresh From the Studio…
Also, if you have any suggestions for the New All That’s Good Blog, go ahead and share! I’m excited – it’s kinda like decorating a new room of your house – but I could use all the help I can get. Be sure to tell me if there’s anything on the blog that annoys you, and maybe we’ll delete it when we add the new skin. Somethings I already know are going, unless you vote otherwise!
Thanks for your help, Trina
I love the recipes and food posts and also the “From My House” and “From the Studio” posts! Your blog is wonderful!
My only criticism is that we never get fashion entries from Olivia and Anya anymore and not enough Tipi Tales…!!!!>Oh, and you could post a picture of Jesse in every entry – We wouldn’t get tired of it, honestly!! ๐
I love it when Olivia comes by with one of her funny stories! And I also enjoy Jesse Moments and anything with pictures!!Your whole blog is soo much fun I just love visiting it!!
It will be fun to see what you come up with for layout. Maybe I will get inspired! My favorite things: Any thing to do with gardens/flowers, from the studio, Jesse pictures (he’s really cute), inspirational posts. I like reading about every day activities as well. It is fun to see how other people order there days and time. >By the way I loved that picture of calendula and lavender that you had for a header a week or two ago.
Trina, >I am a frequent blogger of your site – everyday, nearly. I was having withdrawals when you were on your recent trip ๐>I like seeing what you are up to in your everyday activities because it puts life into a different perspective than my everyday routine. Jesse moments are pretty fun to see – he’s so busy; lots of character. I like seeing your other family members on here as well; particularly since you post such beautiful photos (such as the latest flower garden). Because of our logistics – clear across the US – I feel like I am still connected to family with your blog. >I don’t use your additional links to other sources too often. I have gone to other blogs listed on your site – such as Rachelle’s, Corrie’s, and Joanna/Elise’s – since I know who they are and check in on what’s happening with them periodically. And I typically don’t go through your archived topics. >Hope my input helps. >Aunt Audrey
If I leave TEN comments would you be persuaded to put my name in the hat TEN times?? ๐ I love the necklace!!!!>>I would say “From the Studio” is a top pick for me. I love being inspired by your crafts, thriftfulness, unique sense of style, etc >>However, any blog entry that contains pictures (which is most any post), I find delightful. Your blog delivers some excellent creativity when it comes to photography – e.g. all of Olivia’s graduation pictures.>>Good stuff! I always come back for more. ๐
I think you know I love Tipi Tales, but I also love From the Studio, and, well, everything else. There’s definitely nothing I don’t like!
My fav. parts are pictures of Jesse and when Olivia writes something random and long. Here’s a website to get awesome blog templates and you don’t have to worry about having to reput all of the stuff on the sideline of your blog. http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com>>Olivia Coy
Whoo, hoo! I’m lovin’ all the input, peoples! thank you all for your kind comments. Any criticisms? Keep it coming, I’m getting close to the new look!
beautiful necklace by the way!
I love the The Studio posts for inspiration but I think my very favorite posts are the recipes.>>Anja’s Poems always seem to pop up at the perfect time as does Olivia’s humor, although I’d love to see more of both (hint, hint)
I love it that your blog is so down to earth and real – the pictures of what your family is doing. I also love the variety that comes from having three sisters posting. From the Studio is one of my favorite feature, your projects are so inspiring! >>But, I have to admit that Olivia’s stories are what really got me hooked on your blog – btw, she really needs to post a story soon!
My favorites are “From the Studio”, “Tipi Tales”, and anything Anja and Olivia write. ๐ And of course giveaways. ๐
Because I’m family and clear across the US, I love it all. For me it’s a wonderful way to stay in touch. But if I have to choose, I would have to say my favorite is the “boy” moments. The way you capture him in your pictures and then your captions are just precious. A close second would have to be “From the Studio”. Your craftiness inspires me to get out and do things such as flower arranging and sewing.>Tante Antje
Pyzam.com has some pretty good layouts that I enjoy, though it may not be exactly what you’re looking for. >>I’d have to say that all your “Jesse Moments” are my favorite, since I’m starting to feel pangs myself in the area of desperately longing for motherhood. He’s just so cute! I also like it when Olivia and Anja post ever-so-occasionally…
Your blog, All That is Good is one of my favorites because that is just what it contains! All that is good – relationships with family and friends, creativity, love of God and much much more. Every time I stop by here I am inspired and encouraged. >~Heidi>>P.S. I had a brief layover in Amsterdam last month, and I bought a small piece of delft. You got me hooked on it Trina!
What, you want me to pick a favourite topic???>>I love the Jesse moments, and the From the Studio… and everything else, it is an encouraging glimpse into a family living out their faith!>>JodieR
