Portrait of a Window

Do you know how hard it is to get a picture of a window?

I finally got the lighting right, so here you go…
Jesse’s new curtains.

I was inspired yet again by my Pottery Barn catalog…

As I was paging through it to get inspiration for the tab curtains I had planned on making, I saw these. So simple and understated, I knew they were the perfect style for a room that already had a lot happening!

I have worked on them in between bouts of morning sickness all week. Here are the darling little tabs being pinned down.

See the cunning pleats they create?

Just one more reason to sigh with delight whenever I pass his room.

My hope is that having his windows curtained at last, the Child will stop waking with the first light of dawn at, like, 6AM. Yawn – it has been a long day!

I love your taste in drapes! We have a couple Carlisle panels hanging in our living room. They'll be around for a long time. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Oh, pu-leez, Liv! ๐Ÿ™‚
It's only 'cause Anja came over this morning and cleaned Jesse's room that I could take pictures! ๐Ÿ™‚
