Final details in the dining room included hanging some delft…
My wooden shoe collection…
And arranging my new cupboard. This was a gift from a friend. I will have to try to get better pictures of it another time – it is really adorable, and fits so nice between the two windows. It holds the rest of my delft collection.
This month’s Buffet Display is really simple and clean – just some of my large pieces of glass serving ware – they don’t fit anywhere else right now, but they look nice and every time I walk by one of them calls out to me. “Bake a cake!” (from the cake stand), or “Make some Jello!” (from the truffle dish).
Now that's my kind of serving ware ๐ Love this post !
Wow, so much going on at your place. I keep getting inspired to get my place in better order. The problem is that when I get the redecorating itch I want to do it all NOW instead of waiting patiently to thrift and re-purpose what I need.
Wow – not long to wait! It looks like you've gone through the nesting “push”. My sister is due at the end of August, so she's been nesting for months now. It always seems like there is an extra surge of energy or something towards the end and she gets those few extra projects in. From your pictures, it appears that you expiriance something similar ๐
Love the delft pictures. It looks like you DO have more delft ware than I do. Enjoy ๐
It is lovely! Love the simplicity of the glassware.
I recently came across your blog and I have to say it's one of my favorites. You remind me of the younger me..crafts, home style and all. I used to have a dining room buffet just like that chips and all..LOL I see your baby meter today reads 0 days..good luck and I pray for a swift delivery and healthy baby for you and your family.
God Bless and Thanks for blogging and making me feel at home.
