Jesse’s Birthday – Part Second

the newly three-year-old watches his daddy create the cake.

It is truly a work of art

(Did you all know my husband was a cake artist?)

after breakfast Jesse got to open one present (the rest were saved for when Daddy got back from work) – New Bath toys. A quick touch up on his hair cut gave us the perfect excuse for a bath in the middle of the day.

Claire was a fan of the new bath toys, when she could get her hands on one. Brother is still learning about sharing. He was too engrossed to look up for the photo, but the Princess is always ready for a photo. Oh, my land, those eyes get me every time.

The cake is beautiful! What a fun idea too.
I also saved the zucchini fudge cake recipe, as we have always a need to use up the extra squash/zucchini!
I've been lurking on your blog for awhile. I come from YLCF, HOPE Chest etc.

Love the cake! Gosh, Jeremy did a beautiful job! Are you going to post the recipe? I'm not a huge cake fan, but zucchini fudge sounds really good. (I have zucchini in the fidge, the weekend off, and company coming on Sunday…Hint, hint!)
