One of our favorite parts of the reception was the group dancing. We wanted our guests to have fun, we wanted our wedding to feel like the celebration it was! Having fun and easy group dances that everyone could join in to helped us acheive that. First we did a traditional Lebanese line dance to Jewish music (yes, an odd combination, I know!) that the Holden family learned from their friends the Hoffmans. The bride leads the dance, waving a white handkerchief and the guests link hands and the line grows and fills the room. It was sooo much fun. Then we did the Virginia Reel, and a few more civil war dances. Here’s the page I finished yesterday…
Yeah, I see that! I'm very honored!
It really helped that we had some real enthusiastic guests! Did you see you made it into the album, Alice? Whoo-hoo, don't you feel special? 🙂
