What the one-year-old does for entertainment

She has a cupboard that’s ‘hers’ – inspired by this article in “No Greater Joy”. The other cupboards doors are closed securely when she ventures into the kitchen, but this one is always open to her. She can’t hurt herself or the stuff in the cupboard, and thus spends many happy moments playing her favorite game “put stuff in something, take stuff out, put stuff in, take stuff out”.

Lucky her to have her own cupboard. That is such a good idea.

Aww, she looks so cute in her PJ's!! Is it strange to call her a one-year-old?:)

My kids all had a cupboard in the kitchen that was theirs as well… I put up a picture of their little face on the front as a label☺ I filled it with old pots and pans, large wooden spoons, nesting bowls, plastic containers with matching lids; that sort of thing.

One of my kids, I can't remember which one just now- used to pull everything out, climb inside, and shut the door behind them. I feel like doing that some days… except my cupboards just aren't big enough;)
