Hello, everyone! It’s good to be back – my cold is on the mend, a busy, busy month is nearly over, and I am glad for a chance to sit down and catch up!
Welcome to our newest readers! We heard from…
Mamselle Duroc, whose blog showcases her exquisite vintage reproduction from the sewing room! And I love her vintage photos and quotes along the sidebar, such as this one…

pillar of the family.
— Grace Kelly
And, lastly, a Young Lady in Waiting, whose blog is called “While I Wait“.
Thank you all for stopping by!
The wedding over the weekend was lovely – My next post will be chock-full of pics from that event!
This week we are enjoying spring to it’s fullest. I bought some seeds and potting soil to start a few seedlings. I know, I know, I’m a little late, but I am still determined to start my plants rather than buy them – it really saves money! It’s been years since I managed a greenhouse full of little seedlings…we’ll see if I still remember how to start stuff.
And The Boy is enjoying the weather, too. He is getting the hang of the screen door so he can go outside and play whenever he wants. And daddy has nearly finished fencing off a part of the yard just for the Boy so he can play and not wander. ๐ We are delighted that the warm weather allows us to let him run around in a onesie – the cutest fashion ever invented (but only recommended for babies and toddlers, who actually look cute when their belly sticks out!)
“Knock, Knock! Can I come in???”
OH, and finally, I have special announcement to make – We have a new blog in the family!
My husband’s sisters, Joanna and Elise have officially launched their blog, called “Soras-Sisters“. It is to help them keep in touch with each other and family and friends while Joanna is in Romania over the summer. For those of you who know these girls, you will for sure want to bookmark their new blog. And for the rest of you, Joanna’s adventure may be one you want to keep an eye on! Do jump on over there and welcome them to the blogging world, OK? ๐
Allrighty, time for me to end this and start posting some beautiful wedding photos!
Glad to hear you are feeling better. And I must say Grace Kelly, a wonderful woman worth quoting. She has always been on my list of role models.
Ha, well it might happen.. but then the actress would divorce her husband, her kids would only be with her a fraction of the time, she'd be busy on a mission to save trees or some small country somewhere, and then she'd end up on an awful reality show or Dancing With the Stars or something trying to get her career back. Ok. That was rather pessimistic, lol. I apologize for my rambling.
Glad that you're shaking off all the germs Trina. Can you drop me an email? I have some questions regarding wedding stuff. Tracilouwho@yahoo.com
Ah Grace Kelly, she gave up acting to get married and have a family, something that would sadly never happen in today's Hollywood. Glad you are feeling better Trina ๐
