Which she does. Very much. Especially when the flowers are something beyond the typical dozen red roses.

Oh, Kateri – how wonderful to receive a rosebush from your childhood! That is truly a romantic and thoughtful gift.
Isn't it great to have husbands who know what we love? My husband bought me a rose bush (yes, just a leafless, bare rose bush, but I am so excited because it is an antique rose and one that we had on our homestead in New York, planted by the original owners in the 1800s.) I love cut flowers, but is he is going to spend money, I'd rather have live plants.)Your flowers are so lovely. And that is a beautiful tribute to your husband in the next post.
