I had a different sort of Sunday today! The alarm went off at 6:30, and Jeremy left at 7 to head to Toggenburg Ski Mountain to assist with the training for this year’s ARISE and Ski program. This meant that I had to get me and the children out the door to Church all by myself – ha! What a trick. Me and Claire each went through two different outifts, not because we couldn’t decide what to wear, but ’cause every time we decided, she spit up all over us! We finally made it to Church, only 3o min. late. ๐ I thought to myself how grateful I was to usually have a teamate in this game! Yet, as much as I missed him, I fully support Jeremy’s commitment to the ARISE program, which enables people with disabilities to enjoy the slopes each winter. It is Beautiful to watch his patience and skill when he works with these precious people.

Trina, I’m constantly telling Michael how grateful I am to not be a single mom. I used to consider myself quite independent but now I’m very much dependent upon Mike for all his help and support. I do believe he’s the reason my sanity is still in check. (And there are days when that’s in question)>>I do not envy those young women that I see trying to juggle work, errands and kids all by themselves. How do they carry everything, hold all the hands, bathe, feed, cuddle, and take to daycare? Just blows my mind.
**SMACK** Hi-Five to Jeremy ๐>My Cousin participates in programs like this and it is the highlight of her month/week!!! At every event I have watched her in the “helpers” are sooo patient with her. Thanks for using your time this way…it doesn’t go unnoticed.
