Yesterday when Jeremy got home from work, the house was a disaster.
A work in progress.
A mess.
Call it what you will, there was stuff everywhere it should and shouldn’t be and it was hard to tell that I had been working hard all morning already. The Laundry Mountain was half folded, the suitcases were half packed, the dishes were half done in the sink, dinner was half done on the stove, my sewing project was half done on the counter, and there were even half-packed boxes (were moving next month, dontchaknow). My dear husband is used to how I work, so he just smiled sweetly and commented – “I see you’re multi-tasking again!”
I think I should be all packed by this evening, and finished with the list of what absolutely has to be done before we leave – which is a good thing, ’cause we leave at 7am tomorrow! We are headed for the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri and we’ll be gone till the end of July. We are taking two vehicles, a boat, all our bikes, and 12 people total – including two almost– potty trained toddlers – oh, joy. 🙂
Hope you have a good trip that is at least somewhat relaxing!
How sweet that your husband is so understanding!
Multi-tasking is good, lol.
Have a great trip!
