In this picture – counter clockwise from bottom
-a little girl waiting for a diaper change
-my tennishoes – a friend took me out to lunch today and we ran errands together – it was great having help with the kids, and it was nice that the weather permited tennishoes. ๐
-store brand diapers – thanks to Traci’s advice – who told me that Wegman’s Supreme are just as good as Pampers and are $4 less per box of 80
-my sewing machine. I find it easier to clean off the counter and sew in my kitchen rather than be off in the studio. I can keep a better eye on the kids, and multi-task easier (stir the dinner, serve a snack, answer the door, listen to the radio, change a diaper, the list goes on)
-my new kitchen curtains – yeah, I’ve been on a roll in the sewing department lately. It feels good to finally get the last of my decorating done so I can move on to other projects. (did I mention I didn’t like sewing curtains? I think I did.)
– my cloth shopping bags. I brought them along today but forgot to use them. ๐
-the nearly-complete couch recovering project (from blue to brown). More on that in a future post!
I LOVE your mirror!
Oh my – your couch brings back memories!! Many years ago my mom and her friend (each of them thinking the other had re-done couches before!)re-covered one of ours. An afternoon project that lasted a week ๐ I recovered a two cushion chair once, and that’s as big as I’ll ever get. I used an industrial sewing machine – are you using a normal home machine?>Just had to say, your house looks pleasantly “lived-in”:)
