‘Tis the Season for Wreath Making

Yesterday I began making wreaths! After weeks of planning and getting orders, it was nice to finally get down to business! Elise, Isaiah, and Nathanael helped me gather materials, I set up my work space in the old grange building that is part of the coal business and started working. I made 3 huge wreaths – nearly 4 feet across – which, when they’ve been finished off with a bow and some pine cones and such, will sell for $55 each. And they’re all sold! $165 – not bad for a day’s work.
I’m heading up there again today.

If hung outside in the cool weather, they should last through the holiday, thought these businesses do decorate early, and I would normally not be making wreaths until week after Thanksgiving. We once left our door swag up till March – it was just so pretty! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Beautiful!

Will they stay fresh this far in advance?

Wow, I can't imagine what it must be like to be able to comfortably spend $55 on a wreath!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
