Rachel is visiting us for the week! Here we are yesterday, playing Settlers of Catan. Actually, they are playing, I was taking pictures and working on dinner.
Mom and Dad are out of town, so I invited Anja, Olivia, Anneke, and Judah over for a pizza party.
I made hummus for hors’de vours.
It was delectable, despite the fact that I was distracted by all the fun we were having and forgot half the ingredients in the pizza dough… ๐
Wearing my new apron helped cheer me up, though. It’s like the one I made Martha.
Later, Elise came over for worship practice, and Joanna stayed to play Settlers with us. It was a fun game, but Judah whooped us all!
To top off the evening, I made brownies – from scratch- that were actually as good as a store bought mix! I got the recipe here.
Sweet brownies! We almost always make ours from scratch! And they taste pretty good!
Rachelle – I don't have the recipe, but I am sure Mom does somewhere. I'll make a point of locating it and posting it on the blog if I find it!
Looks like you had a blast! Oh, but don't I know ALL about getting distracted and forgetting ingredients!! :/ The pizza looks delicious.
Too bad you couldn't join your parents here to MICH, but probably better with the continual drama that is life here. Anyways, speaking of recipes, do you have grandma's bread recipe?
If the pizza was anything like the ones we had when we visited, my mouth is envious. Oh and way to go Judah for "whooping" it up in Settlers! :p
Yum, you look like you've been busy lately. Tomorrow is our day for family and pizza. I'm going to try a new pecan tassie recipe in honor of the occasion.
That pizza looks amazing! I want some, and I also want some of those brownies. Any leftovers?
The brownies were amazing!!
And you had a party AT YOUR HOUSE!!!
Wahoo, wahoo ๐
