How Great Thou Art, Part One

O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made,
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
They power throughout the universe displayed…

The first highlight of our trip was visiting Creation Museum!

After years of visiting museums that shamelessly proclaim the myth of evolution as truth, the Answers in Geneses museum was like coming home! You didn’t have to sift and filter all the info to get to the fragments of a biblical world view – it was all there, straight from the scriptures.

from The Creation of the world, including dinosaurs, to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus – it was all there, with high-quality displays and multi media presentations. I especially like the planetarium – a virtual tour through the solar system really put in to perspective how small we are, and how GREAT our God is!

This sign in one section of the museum cracked me up – don’t worry, it was the only reference to evolution in the whole place! ๐Ÿ™‚

Trina, I'm so glad you got to visit the Creation Museum! I had to laugh when I saw Jesse on the dinosaur. We were able to visit the museum at the beginning of August, and my dad took a picture of me perched on that same li'l dino. I think Jesse's closer to the age group they had in mind for these photo opportunities. ๐Ÿ™‚

The museum looks awesome! I would love to see it sometime. And I totally agree with you, Trina, that it's nice to not have to sort out the evolution and reduce the *billions of years* theory. When we went walking in Watkins Glenn, we had a great chuckle over what the glenn looked like millions of years ago…. What a neat experience to see all that stuff from a Christian perspective…

So cool. Did Jesse have his passy in cause he was so scared of the dino behind you that he was crying??
I might have, hmmm, then again maybe not. Well, maybe I would have, then again maybe not. Hmmm, to much to think about.

Hurrah! You're back! I can't wait to hear all about everything and see pictures.
