Gourmet Breakfast

It was the middle of the week – nothing particular to celebrate, only the beauty of my life with three darling children and the beautiful sunshine, and I felt we deserved a treat. Fresh melon from the local Amish grocery, omelets with local eggs, and an apple-pie tart, made with our own apples, and leftover pastry scraps from a pie I made my husband.
