Dinner at Blue Sky

This evening my family is hosting a dinner for some politician friends of my father’s. I stopped by in the middle of the preparations and snapped a few photos.

Everyone was helping. Anneke was folding napkins for the place settings, while Anja was pounding chicken breasts for the chicken Cordon Bleu.

They decided to use the studio as the dining room, which is inviting with the potted plants and artwork filling every corner.

Mom filled her half a dozen chalk boards around the house with appropiate quotes…

Another corner of the studio displaysAnja’s latest baskets.

Your family home looks like it is a place that is really "lived in". Showplace homes are so boring, I got inspired just looking at all the creativity displayed there! 🙂

Seems like the perfect room in which to dine on such an occasion.

It sounds like it will be yummy. By the way, nice baskets Anja!
