I have been reading a Louis L’Amour and it has me longing for Colorado.

I have known that feeling – the thrill of taking in thousands of acres in a single glance from mountain tip to valley. Of seeing tall pines as simply a green blanket draped over the shoulders of rocky peaks.

Somehow I experience the same thrill when I gaze at my little daughter, asleep in her bassinet. The feeling that there is so much here that my eyes can’t take it all in. Even in a lifetime, I won’t grasp the beauty in my view.
