It was a year ago now that I read One Thousand Gifts. My gift list is woefully neglected (a mere 317 so far) but the lesson of choosing to see and be grateful for even the smallest of blessings has stuck with me. Ann’s honest musings sunk deep into my spirit and allowed me to begin to see glimpses of my Father’s heart that thrilled my soul. I’m planning on re-reading the book again this spring, and will continue to make celebrating gifts an every-day habit.
Added to my list of things to celebrate this week is a darling pair of freshwater pearl studs sent to me by MyFreshwaterPearls.com. I was delighted when they approached me about reviewing their earrings, as I’ve always loved the classic look of pearls. Plus, they had lots of color choices! I already have a grey and white pair that get a lot of use, so I chose the Rose.
I was delighted at the little box they came in and by the subtle pink shade. They were the finishing touch for my Easter outfit. Vintage hat, check. Vintage-inspired dress, check. Rose colored pearl studs—perfect!
I also like that they’re a bit ‘squashed’–the shape lays nicely on my ear lobe. I wore them all day–they were comfortable and didn’t bother my ears.

Those are VERY nice earrings 🙂
I want to see the rest of your Easter Ensemble!
I didn’t get anything but a head shot with my cell phone on Sunday, Jess, but if you follow the links in the post you can see the whole dress and the hat as I wore it last Easter. 🙂
Sooooo pretty. 🙂
I love your hat! And I love pearls with a pink cast. I will visit their site.
