Last year Anja and I were sent the link to this instructional by a thoughtful friend. We had so much fun making quite realistic roses out of colorful maple leaves, we knew we had to pass this on to our readers! (just click on haha.nu in the upper left hand corner of the clipped box to get to the instructions) It’s not hard, you just have to make a few to get the hang of it. Anja said it clicks on about the third try. So go for it!
P.S. – did anyone make a leaf crown yet? C’mon, you guys! You better celebrate fall before I get the snowball tutorial up!

Ooops! Snowball /= snowboard! That's what I get for reading too fast.
As nice as learning to make a leaf crown was, this is much cooler! I have to try this, whenever our leaves decide to finally change that is!
Those are really cool! But they look a little hard for me!
Don't feel bad if your's never look like roses…..mine never did.
so, I was all skier too, till some boy put two really kindof pretty teasing boards in my house…they are just sitting there…almost saying "i dare you to try" sooo I think I might demand lessons just to prove to them (the boards of course) that I can.. ๐
oh and about the leaf thing, when I find a maple that easy enough to climb…i will try.. ๐ (it's still summer down here!!)
Actually, I'm a SKIER, but we won't bring the snowboarding vs.skiing conflict to this quiet, peaceful place…

I'm glad you've enjoyed the tutorials!
You could make them with green leaves, but I guess green roses are just about as weird as green ham!
Trina, you might well be snowboarding before the leaves change down here. We're still in "about to be fall" limbo here in Alabama.
Looks extremely interesting though. Thanks for sharing all these ideas/tutorials with us.
