Just checking in so you know I’m alive! We came home from Creation only long enough to do laundry and head back out to camp some more. (I really love camping. Maybe it has something to do with living in a tipi for 8 1/2 months?) On our second trip I did not have internet access. This was a good thing. ๐ Everybody needs to have a media fast once in a while to regain perspective. I have missed you all and the interaction here, but the reality is, I have only been home 3 full days out of the last 15 and I do not yet have time to blog, though much has been percolating
and many notes have been jotted in my blogging notebook. I look forward to sharing what the Lord has been showing me and some great memories and pictures of our adventure-full summer in upcoming posts. Meanwhile, I wanted to pass on some linky love – this is the best of the best of what I’ve had time to glean from the internet in the past few weeks…
My friend Katie took the Red Pill, and it has made all the difference
Traci (my Creation Camping Buddy) inspires balance in technology and motherhood
Sarah Mae released her new e-book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reviews of my ebook on these great blogs – Like a Bubbling Brook, Delicious Obsessions (giveaway open), Trench Mommy, and SnowJoy (this one made me cry ’cause I got to hear how my book actually helped a mommy of three little ones in her journey to nourishing her family well – the whole goal of my book!)
I’ll be back next week once I get out from under the 7 loads of laundry I have to fold and put away in the laundry room…yeah. ๐
Thanks Trina! I am always honored when you link back to me! <3 love you so much and thanks for letting me learn from you! ๐
It sounds like you had a great time. It IS good to be away from the laptop and the internet sometimes. I can relate to all the notes you made in your blogging notebook – sometimes that space and quiet “away” inspires a lot of creative ideas. I just need to GET a notebook and have it handy next time … ๐
Hope the laundry goes well!
