Willow Harvest

On Saturday I went to my mom’s to harvest my willow. Claire and Jesse enjoyed the visit.

Jesse loved seeing the chickens after a long winter.

Mom helped me harvest my English Basketry Willow.

A bountiful harvest! I will store it in our shed until I weave it into baskets.

Oh, Persuaded – I would love to share the basket weaving process with you! But it took years for me to develop this skill, and I doubt it could be taught via a blog. I will post pictures of my finished products, though, and recommend a favorite book on basket making in a future post, OK? 🙂
