Week In Feminine Dress, Day One

It’s here again, Ladies! The Week in Feminine Dress, when we endeavor to dress feminine all week long. Sorry I didn’t give anyone more warning, but I just found out it started today, hosted on the Sense and Sensibility message board.

Today I wore a favorite skirt I hope to get a few more wearings out of before I move into larger sizes. A green J.Crew shirt, and a gray layering tank from Down East (which you can’t see in the picture). Also, my Emmeline apron, as I was busy cooking most of the morning and also transplanting some seedlings to larger pots.
If you are participating, please leave a comment so we can visit your blog and see how you are wearing feminine styles this week! Or, describe your oufit in a comment on my daily WIFD posts.

Can anyone else see the picture, or is just my computer? ๐Ÿ™

One of my favorite message boards hosts a Week in Feminine Dress several times a year. It is a time to encourage each other to dress femininely for a week, and members post photos of themselves each day. It’s always fun to see all the different outfits and styles, and to see that it really is possible and fun to dress nicely for most activities. I am participating in the Fall WIFD, and will be sharing the pictures each day on the blog. Why don’t you join me? (as long as your a girl, mind you!)

Sarah and I coordinated so well at Church today!

A bunch of feminine girls!

My boy matched his momma, too.

Kisses for the boy!

    elizabeth, welcome!
The board I belong to is listed in my favorite links – it's the sense and sensibility forum. If I may ask, how did you find my blog? 'Cause most of my readers came to me through there…

I'm joining you! I am wearing pants today but I'll wear skirts (I don't think I really even have any!) tonight to next tuesday and post about in in my blog…

What message board is this that has something like A week in feminine dress encouraged? I'm interested!

Actually I do have something to add. :p

I know that because of the current clothes styles in our society "dressing femininely" is sometimes hard to do because it is hard to actually find clothing, or so I have gathered from my three sisters. So I applaud you Trina and everyone else in that photo for your higher standards. ๐Ÿ™‚

Trina, I was not going to comment because I don't really have anything to add about dressing femininely being a guy and all. But then as I scrolled up I saw that silly "mad grandma" and she got me so I am commenting.
