This Month’s Poem

Lush and green and peaceful hilliness
has given me an easy willingness
to stay and sip the spring sunshine
and let the green wash over mine
I forgot how dew was stunning
I remember barefoot running.
Oh, May – it makes it rise again
– the joy of new begin-agains.
