A Spring Dinner Party

So, of course, I had to bake a cake.
Just so I could have the fun of icing it.

It was exactly what the buffet wanted.

And my wheat grass sprouted and grew green and luscious just in time for company.

Oh, and eat it too. I like to ice my cake and eat it, too.

There is still some left, if you want a sample. But it is going fast.

Sarah, I posted a carrot cake recipe last week, but for this one I tried the recipe in “Nourishing Traditions”, more like a Hawian Carrot Cake with pineapple, raisins, and coconut.

Jesse helped set the table when we had our neighbors over for dinner the other night.

Upon finishing, he got himself up in his chair, ready to be served his dinner.

He played with his napkin while waiting.

Suddenly, he began eating it! He must have been really hungry!

No wonder, with Rachel’s bread sticks on the menu! (I’ll have just one more, please…)
