Is it any wonder he seems to have a sense of the artistic? He got a double dose from both his mommy and daddy.
We came home last night and Mommy had to run out on an errand real quick before bed. When she came back, Daddy directed her attention to where the Boy was practicing flower arranging with Mommy’s bouquet from Beppe’s garden.
“It’s obvious he has no idea that this is a ‘no-no'” Daddy comments. “He has stripped off petals and spread stems and blossoms all over the table and floor, and he has absolutely no remorse or regret or guilt. He’s simply copying what mommy does with the flowers. Poking the stems in and out of the water in the vase.”
This one is called “Citrus on Ice”. For those of you who are committed Jesse fans, I have uploaded a low-quality video of him creating this masterpiece of still life…
I really hope you have a girl this time, so you can have “The Boy” and “The Girl”. I will feel very sorry for any child who has to go through life as “The Boy II”!>>Mrs. Valine
I just love getting to know “the boy” this way. Hopefully, someday soon I’ll get to meet him in person. >I have Pake and Beppe over for tea ocassionally just to look at the blog!!!>>Auntie
“Citrus on Ice” ! It is beautiful, truly an amazing masterpiece from someone so young! ๐
He’s amazing! ๐ SO cute!!
Oh, Joanna, I was really tempted, I can assure you! But you know how biased I am, as well! Besides, I thought that to really appreciate this photo, it needed some commentary, so it got assigned to the “Jesse Moments” file. Jesse, however, really appreciated your vote of confidence. ๐
Trina I really think that “Citrus on Ice” is worthy of a wordless weekend. but then again maybe I’m a little biased:)
That’s my nephew!
That’s my boy!
