Of Persuing our Passions and Holy Discontent

I have a busy weekend, folks, and no more forseeable blogging time until next week. But I didn’t want to leave you without something to chew on for the rest of the week, so I give you two links…

A dear friend of mine, Katie, has recently turned her passion in the direction of some fired-up blog posts on some seriously important topics. She got to spend the night at my house last night and we stayed up way too late – Jeremy, Katie, and I – discussing, among other things, the passions and opportunities God has given us, and what to do with them. I’m always blessed by my visits with Katie because she is so focused on finding out why God has her on this earth, and what to do with the passion He has given her. If you want to be encouraged and inspired today, visit….

Katie’s Chronicles and read her latest blog post.

And to be further challenged and motivated, check out this book Katie brought with her that I read this morning when I couldn’t sleep. This book is going to change my life – I’m really excited!

BTW – my busy weekend consists of attending, arranging flowers for, and coordinating a friend’s wedding an hour and a half north of here. I am very much looking forward to it as I love these opportunities to express the gifts God has given me, but it will be a long weekend, with lots of driving and juggling of my other responsibilities as wife and mother, so I’d appreciate your prayers! I promise pictures in return! 🙂
