Everyone has shown a lot of interest in seeing our progress next door, so I’m going to go ahead and post regular updates! Jeremy has been putting in half days at the business, then half days next door, sometimes working an hour or two after dinner as well.
On Friday he stripped out the old linoleum in the bathroom, patched and leveled the floor, and laid down the tile backer board.
Saturday he laid tile. I thought the peice he cut to go around the vent was pretty impressive. I never ceased to be amazed at how much stuff this guy knows how to do, and how well he does it!
Patching the walls and floors throughout the house is the next step – there is water damage and, well, people damage. After that we’ll be able to start painting!
The tile is beautiful!!!
I can imagine that it must be a huge blessing to have a husband who knows how to do all that remodeling work around the house. Bravo for him!
Hello to all!
Looks like a lot of work! I like the tiles in the bathroom. I am sure you will have lots of fun decorating your new home.
love,
Aunt Beverly
I love the tile ๐
Dear Polly,
We will certainly entertain the idea of letting mom make a guest appearance or two on the blog! ๐
Everything looks great Jeremy!!!!
I am very excited for both of you….wait, I am very excited for the three of you ๐
As a "woman of a certain age," I'd love to see some fashion posts by your Queen of Classy Dressing mother. : )
I love the tile Trina – it's very similar to what I have in my kitchen. Hard on the glassware and plates, but looks good when clean.
