My Birthday Tradition

Thanks everyone for your kind birthday greetings. I had a great day, celebrating in big ways and little…

I wore my favorite tunic.

My mother brought me daffodils.

It was a Friday (I love Fridays).

It was 60 degrees.

I ordered “Sew U Home Stretch: The Built by Wendy Guide to sewing kint Fabrics” as a birthday present to myself (yeah!!!)

I received a very original birthday greeting from a friend who will remain anonymous. (to understand why, watch the video!)

We had homemade tortillas for lunch.

I rode bikes to the park with my kids and my nieghbor, Rachel.

My inlaws made a yummy picnic dinner which we enjoyed in the park near…

Toughannock Falls. I love Toughannock Falls and have gone there in the spring right around my birthday several times since living in the Fingerlakes, so I consider it my own personal birthday tradition. The falls look small in this photo we took from the Overlook, but they are actually taller than Niagra Falls, and they’re practically in our backyard!

Thanks again to everyone who helped me celebrate my day. I am truly blessed by the friends God has given me!
