If you’ve hung around here at all this summer, you know I’m passionate about eBooks.
I loved creating one: publishing an ebook has taught me so much, and my book continues to be a steady source of residual income for our family.
I love encouraging others to write them–in fact I wrote a whole series about my self-publishing journey in hopes of encouraging your own ebook project.
And I love reading ebooks. For these awesome reasons:
- Ebooks are a quick way to gain new knowledge–they’re usually blessedly shorter than a typical book and I can fit them into my reading schedule faster.
- Ebooks are deliciously relevant, featuring the most up-to-date content thanks to the self-publishing process being faster than traditional publishing.
- Ebooks are usually self-published by a real person who is accessible for me to connect with, ask questions of, and continue to learn from. Ebooks have often served as the starting point of a mentoring relationship for me.
That’s why I got really excited about the Healthy Living eBook Bundle. I’ve been in a bit of a slump lately with real food (yeah, I know, I wrote a book on that, and I’m struggling with it. Go figure.). We seem to eat the same meals from my menu over again and I don’t have time to research new recipes that fit my qualifications for whole and nourishing. I also haven’t made as much progress on my goals of learning home remedies to treat my children as I’d planned this year.
Then along came this pile of eBooks. This eBook Bundle is a total answer to prayer! I’ve had a few minutes (in between catching up on sleep after Allume and settling into the bus for a month in Alabama) to peek at the contents of the bundle, and here’s some highlights I’m excited about so far…
—–>I’m super excited that Cara’s Grain Free Meal Plan Cookbook is in the bundle! I used her site extensively when I did the GAPS diet in January this year. I plan to do the GAPS diet again this winter and now I will do it in style with her awesome, creative recipes!

Side note…have you read this book? http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Healthcare-Your-Child-Trustworthy/dp/1878726013
It’s a really great, simple place to start with basic natural remedies that generally just use what we already have on hand. With the exception of activated charcoal powder for some people. (But if you don’t keep some of that handy, you really, really should!)
🙂
thanks for the book recommendation, Chantel!
yeah, we love activated charcoal. 😉
