Faithful readers, please forgive a shameless moment of congratulations to myself. I have today reached the personal goal of a quarter of a century, and I think I would be remiss not to mention it on my blog. I have, to date, received:
3 phone calls from grandparents
1 phone call from my mother
1 phone call from my thoughtful brother
and
That’s not to mention the daily gifts leading up to my birthday all month from my dear husband! From scrapbooking pens and several online gift certificates, to tickets to a dinner concert this weekend, and roses 5 days in a row, he outdid himself even before the day arrived!
I have spent the day in a most delightful occupation – completing the final pages of my album. Sooo close to being done, it is extra enjoyable each time I complete a page, and thus a very lovely way to pass the time while my husband is at work. Tonight we will reunite and join my family for my birthday dinner. Anja will (hopefully) be pulling my cheesecake out of the oven any time now, and I have every hope that it will be more tasty than the cake depicted in the humorous e-card I got from Sarah and Teresa. ๐ Thanks for the laugh, ladies!
I'm so glad that you have had such a "happy birthday!" I can't wait to hear how your cheesecake turned out! ๐
Happy birthday, Trina!
