Handmade Holidays

I know some of you will gag when I announce that I already have most of my Christmas shopping and crafting done. This is because I have a baby due 3 weeks before Christmas, and if I want to be able to show the people I love some Christmas cheer, I had better start sooner than later.

But I haven’t come on to brag, but provide some links to help you get in the mood. ๐Ÿ™‚

My new favorite craft blog, Skip to My Lou, is doing a series this month on handmade gift ideas. I’m lovin’ it – so many wonderful ideas and links in one place!

Also, check out Etsy – they have gift idea lists for guys, girls, babies, as well as gourmets, pet lovers, jewelry addicts, bookworms, and more.

One of my favorite gifts to give is a good book – check out our book posts from last October, which was book month on the blog, for great gift ideas for all the readers you know. Don’t forget to check out Amazon or do a Froogle search to find these books for awesome prices.

And here is a list of all kinds of free gift tags for wrapping your gifts – such variety, I found just what I wanted…

Here’s a favorite tag from Angry Chicken’s free tags that I used last year…
