I love giving and receiving handmade gifts! There was a lot of handmade generosity going around this holiday! As much as possible I will try to share sources in case anyone gets inspired!
A turtle from Auntie Lee. She got the pattern from Martha.
a collage for my studio from Anja…
Look at the details! I love it. I already have it hung up, see, Lee?
A freshwater pearl necklace from me to Joanna.
A ceramic manger scene glazed by my mother and Anneke! I was sooo excited – I finally have a lovely manger scene like my mother’s!
Angora and wool knitted wrist-warmers from Olivia! I know she got the pattern from knitty, but I couldn’t find the page for you. ๐ sorry.
An Amy Butler bag from Alyssa! Whoo-hoo! I love Amy Butler! And she used vintage cloth from her stash – yum! I used the bag today as I took advantage of 40 degree temps and walked to the library. The wide shoulder straps made even hauling books home a pleasure!
Pictures of the manger scene?? Please?
Wow lots of great gifts! ๐ Though I have one thing to say, that "dance in your living room" quote from the collage is so my line!! :p
Here is the link….http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter05/PATTmrsbeeton.html I've probably made 20 plus pairs over the past few years. I love that pattern!
The wristwarmers are the Mrs. Beetons Wristwarmers from Knitty ( Winter 05) . Pattern by Brenda Dayne.

Nice wrist warmers Olivia! Maybe I'll make them for my sister next year, she likes gifts that keep her warm ๐
Everything is wonderful! I've made that Amy Butler bag more than a few times!
Giggles have replaced my sniffs, I shall call you by and by ๐
I love the picture of Jesse Trina. I am so excited that you are moving I hope I get to help.
you commented before I was finished with the post, dear. ๐ your gift was certainly worthy of the list. Remind me if I've forgotten anything! this is everything that I had a clear picture of…
*sniff* You didn't post a picture of what I made you! I feel unloved. *sniff, sniff*
Was it not worthy of the blog? *sniff
