Well, as much as I have enjoyed blogging daily and Traci’s challenge this month, I believe this is farewell for now. I have heard of a nasty computer virus going around, and I don’t want to take any chances with Jeremy not here today to keep an eye on our computer. So I am shutting it down today, and can’t promise when I’ll be back. Farewell!

Well, we leave tonight. I am dong final packing and food prep, looking forward to climbing on the bus tonight after dinner and starting our vacation. I don’t know what my internet access will be for the next few weeks – except for a few scheduled posts, I’m not sure what you’ll hear from me, but check in once in a while, and I promise I’ll say hello if I get a chance!
Yesterday we went to my parent’s for dinner and to say goodbye. Anja made a cherry pie and I made vanilla ice cream. It was wonderful. Jeremy, Jordan, Anneke and Judah played Bocci Ball in the yard, and Jesse ran around with one of the balls, feeling important. Then we started eating raspberries, since they are just starting to ripen on my parent’s bushes. Jesse is such a fan of berries – half of his clothes are berry stained in the last month. You know how he drools juice…anyway, he was following whoever was picking and begging. Anja started to throw berries at him, and let him find them in the grass. This was very entertaining to the audience. To watch his face as she lobbed a berry at him – plink! and it would bounce off him and land somewhere in the grass. Then he would do his little sign for “where” which has become so pronounced these days, it is like a salute. Then he would spot it and grin at everybody, then bend over to pick up the treasure. At this point Anneke thought it a sport to crawl up behind him and butt him in the behind with her head, tipping him over onto his head, sometimes squishing the raspberry in the process. This would garner cries and then exultation from the audience as he would gain his footing again and pop the berry in his mouth quickly before the next accident!
Well, I better go. I’ve gotta go up to the freezer, switch the laundry over, and start packing Jeremy. Me and Jesse are almost all packed, except for what’s in the wash. If I wasn’t ready for a vacation before getting ready for this one, I am now!

Ha-ha! Poor little Jesse with his aunts picking on him! ๐ …really funny though! :p
We’re an AVG family.. I live with a techie and he loves it, even the free versions.. and knock on wood.. we’ve never been virused yet.. it seems to catch any bugs that try to come in, lol.>>Love the new header!
I also recommend Kaspersky…it’s very easy to use, but also thorough.
Sounds like you guys could use a good anti-virus software! I use Kaspersky and have never had issues (thank goodness!). The guys who sold me my laptop sold me on the software as well. Said it ran better than other anti-virus softwares on the market, and is more affordable. Maybe look into it?>>http://usa.kaspersky.com/products_services/HomeProducts.php
Hopefully the computer problems will be fixed soon. I can understand that it’s scarry when your not sure if it’s a virus or …what exactly is wrong with this thing?!? ๐>I’m sure your life is getting busier these days. While it might not be possible to post every day, I hope you won’t close up shop forever … you would be missed ๐>The picture of Claire in your header is very precious!
