The morns are meeker than they were –
The nuts are getting brown –
The berry’s cheek is plumper –
The Rose is out of town.
The nuts are getting brown –
The berry’s cheek is plumper –
The Rose is out of town.
The Maple wears a gayer scarf –
The field a scarlet gown –
Lest I should be old fashioned
I’ll put a trinket on.
Emily Dickinson c.1858
I really like the new colors and everything!! The poem was very enjoyable too! I love the part about the maples putting on brighter scarves!!
Love the new look. It goes well with this crisp seasonal weather we've been having.
I like the new look! Very fall-ish.
