Last week Nathanael, my brother-in-law, celebrated his birthday with a pizza party and bowling.
The bowling alley was so full, we could only get one lane, and we got bumpers for the younger boys, so we all had to play with bumpers. Kinda fun – I made a personal record of 120 and beat all the boys (young and old!) 🙂

This is the gift I made for Nathanael – an art pad and pencil holder made of an old pair of linen pants. :)It folds in half and snaps closed, with a patch pocket from the pants sewn to the front cover. I got the idea from Skip-to-my-Lou right here.
I just have to say that I love bowling with kids cuz then I have a proper excuse to use the bumpers…Great gift idea too!
