I love when other bloggers have cool ideas and then ask me to come along for the ride!
Such was the case last fall when Emily Gardner invited me to be a part of a series on her blog about balancing motherhood and writing. I was grateful for a chance to explore the subject of coping with what seemed to be conflicting callings in the season of overwhelm I have named “Lydia’s Sleep Regression”.
This week the post went live and I went back and read it and laughed. The lessons the Lord taught me during that season had already become a vague memory. I’m so grateful for how writing holds you accountable to truth God’s brought to our attention, and how the words we write can come back to “haunt” us when we need them most.
If you need encouragement for balancing the passions and callings God’s given you in this season, want a behind-the-scenes glimpse into my writing process, or tips for courting the muse in the midst of chaos, join me at Emily’s today, won’t you?
