Then there was that time I got asked to speak at a blogging conference
and I was
scared,
honored,
excited,
and pretty much freaking out about it.
I thought and prayed and dreamed and called my ‘board of directors’ (the wise, older women I’m privileged to blog alongside{who I will not link to because they probably won’t like being called old, though I remind them repeatedly how much I value their maturity}) and they encouraged me to embrace this opportunity, and my husband was all for it, and I was going to the conference already, so…
I said “yes”.
And the first time I saw my face on the speaker page, my heart literally skipped a beat. And I’m
scared,
honored,
excited,
and still freaking out, but I’m getting used to the idea that…
